Job summary

Tractor Supply is seeking a Receiver to support inventory control, receiving accuracy, and compliance routines in store operations. The role handles receiving, adjustments, reconciliation, transfers, buybacks/RTV, compliance, and reporting while coordinating with the Store Operations Manager.

The operating model emphasizes backroom processes and front sidewalk adjustments. We value 18+ with a valid driver’s license, high school diploma or equivalent, and basic computer and math skills.

Qualifications

• Shipping/receiving experience preferred but not required.
• Retail experience and/or farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge is strongly preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older and possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Deliver Legendary Customer Service through GURA: Greet, uncover needs, recommend solutions, add value, and show appreciation.
• Deliver Legendary Service and reinforce Leading with Legendary behaviors.
• Use coaching routines to develop team members and improve selling behaviors.
• Complete forklift and propane inspections and key propane use as required.
• Pull waiting OMNI orders and support BOPIS/OMNI reconciliation.
• Receive and process Direct POs, freight, transfers, and related documentation.
• Stock and tag freight and direct vendor items per standards.
• Create Fill to Capacity picklists for Freight Team and manage inventory discrepancies.
• Review reports like Negative On Hand and follow up as needed.
• Run monthly safety and compliance tasks and related HACCP/Propane programs.
• Partner with Store Operations Manager on inventory control and processes.
