PARR is seeking a Receiving Coordinator to help ensure accurate inventory receipt and vendor coordination at our Tacoma location. The role focuses on matching PO details, inspecting incoming materials, and collaborating with OIC, Purchasing, and Bookkeeping to maintain smooth operations.

Eligibility includes a high school diploma or GED, English proficiency, and familiarity with ERP and inventory control. The job emphasizes safety, teamwork, and the continual improvement of processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Class C driver’s license or alternative transportation preferred.
• Ability to speak, write, and read English required.
• Familiar with ERP system.
• Knowledge of receiving/inventory control principles, practices, and protocols.
• Knowledge of dimensional lumber, panels, and other building products.

Responsabilités

• Receive/Count all inventory delivered to yard, documenting counts on blind receiving page.
• Validates material received matches PO.
• Inspects materials for damage or defects prior to unloading.
• Notify vendor of discrepancies or damage.
• Match purchase order to packing slip and submit to Scantrack.
• Place inventory in staging area in an organized manner.
• Operate forklift according to company standards.
• Assist with back orders and vendor returns as needed.
• Cross-trains for Counter Sales, Lumberyard Associate, MRS, or Load Checker.
