Job summary

Parr Lumber Company is seeking a Material Return Specialist in Tacoma, WA. The role involves receiving and processing material returns, tagging, and organizing the return area to meet customer expectations within five business days from pickup to completion.

You will tally, inspect, and sort items, prepare credit notes, and collaborate with the Receiving Coordinator and sales staff. You will operate a forklift, review supplier returns, and ensure proper labeling and documentation while

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Receive re-sellable materials back into yard inventory with proper tagging.
• Tally, inspect, and sort returned materials; create farm packs and supplier returns.
• Schedule material returns to vendors and write/invoice credit notes in the system.
• Operate forklift and maintain clean, safe return area.
• Coordinate with Load Builders, Yard staff, drivers and vendor partners.
