Job summary

Advantage Media Services in Valencia, CA, seeks an Inventory Inventory & Receiving Administrative Associate to ensure inventory accuracy and manage WMS tasks within a fulfillment operation. The role requires interpreting warehouse data to propose improvements for slotting, labor planning, and process optimization.

The position supports daily execution and warehouse projects, including cycle counts, transfers, and reporting, with a focus on accurate records and data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year in a warehouse environment with inventory receiving or related experience.
• Basic understanding of inventory control procedures.
• Experience in warehousing operations within a 3PL distribution or fulfillment environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred but not required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with computerized inventory systems required.
• Must be computer literate.
• College education is a plus or work experience equivalent.
• Extreme attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize, release, monitor, and complete inventory-related WMS tasks including transfers and cycle counts.
• Execute cycle counts, investigate variances, and support inventory adjustments.
• Maintain accurate inventory, SKU, location, and transaction records in WMS.
• Analyze trends in SKU, location, and inventory movements for improvements.
• Prepare reports and dashboards on inventory accuracy and warehouse performance.
• Evaluate capacity usage and provide data-driven storage recommendations.
• Develop SKU-to-location slotting using demand and handling constraints.
• Support warehouse projects with current-to-future state analysis and labor estimates.
• Create what-if scenarios for capacity and growth impacts.
• Design warehouse solutions like aisle reconfigurations and relocations.
• Investigate discrepancies and propose corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Operations, Inventory Control, Supervisors, and others to implement plans.
• Assist with onboarding, audits, and inventory-related requests with accurate data.
• Present findings to management, outlining options and risks.
