Job summary

ADVANTAGE MEDIA SERVICES LLC in Palmdale, CA is seeking an Inventory Auditor to perform advanced inventory reconciliation across receiving, picking, packing and shipping. You will investigate discrepancies, validate adjustments, and prepare audit reports for internal controls across retail clients.

The role requires 3+ years in inventory/audit, strong Excel/WMS skills, and the ability to work independently or in a team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s preferred
• 3+ years inventory or audit experience
• 3PL and retail distribution experience strongly preferred
• Intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data filtering)
• Strong understanding of WMS transactions and inventory flows
• Experience conducting investigations and documenting findings
• Attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Forklift experience
• Bilingual preferred, but not required
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive audits across receiving, picking, packing, and shipping
• Perform root cause analysis for recurring discrepancies
• Audit system transactions for compliance and accuracy
• Validate inventory adjustments and ensure proper approval workflows
• Monitor inventory accuracy KPIs and shrink metrics
• Support client-specific compliance requirements
• Prepare audit reports with findings and corrective action recommendations
• Assist in annual physical inventory coordination
• Train and guide Level I Inventory Auditors
• Support SOP development and updates
• Identify process improvement opportunities
• Coordinate with Operations, Quality, and IT on inventory issues
• Support Operational functions with resources as business dictates and time permits
• Other tasks as required to meet goals
