ADVANTAGE MEDIA SERVICES LLC seeks an Inventory, Receiving, Administrative Associate to ensure inventory accuracy within a fulfillment operation. You will manage WMS tasks, perform cycle counts, and generate reports and dashboards to support warehouse performance.

The role requires analyzing SKU movement, capacity, and trends to drive slotting, labor planning, and process improvements, while collaborating with Operations, Inventory Control, and Customer Service.

Qualifications

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred but not required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with computerized inventory systems required.
  • College education is a plus or work experience equivalent.
  • Basic understanding of inventory control procedures.
  • Must be computer literate.

Responsibilities

  • Prioritize, release, monitor, and complete inventory-related WMS tasks and transfers.
  • Execute cycle counts, investigate variances, reconcile inventory to WMS records.
  • Maintain accurate inventory, SKU, location, and transaction records in the WMS.
  • Analyze SKU, location, velocity and movements to identify trends and improvements.
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, and analysis for inventory accuracy and warehouse performance.
  • Develop SKU-to-location recommendations and support capacity planning.
  • Present findings and recommendations to management and stakeholders.

Job SummaryThe Inventory Inventory & Receiving Administrative Associate is responsible for inventory accuracy, WMS task management, operational reporting, and analytical support within a fulfillment operation. The role requires strong ability to interpret warehouse data and translate inventory, SKU, location, capacity, and trend information into practical recommendations for slotting, warehouse configuration, labor planning, and process improvement.The position supports daily execution while also contributing to warehouse projects.Essential Job FunctionsPrioritize, release, monitor, and complete inventory-related WMS tasks, including transfers, replenishment, cycle counts, location moves, consolidation, and re-slotting.Execute cycle counts, investigate inventory variances, reconcile physical inventory to WMS records, and support approved inventory adjustments.Maintain accurate inventory, SKU, location, and transaction records within the WMS and related systems.Analyze SKU, location, inventory velocity, movement frequency and other operational data to identify trends, exceptions, and improvement opportunities.Prepare reports, dashboards, and analysis for inventory accuracy, task aging, inventory movements, capacity, and warehouse performance.Evaluate warehouse capacity and location utilization and provide data-driven recommendations for rack, PnP, floor, staging, overflow, and other storage configurationsPlease note, this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice.Perform slotting analysis and develop SKU-to-location recommendations using demand, velocity, cube, weight, handling requirements, and operational constraints.Support warehouse projects by analyzing current-state conditions, developing future-state configurations, and estimating labor, time, space, and implementation requirements.Develop what-if scenarios and capacity models to determine location requirements, available space, and operational impact of customer growth or warehouse changes.Design and document warehouse solutions such as aisle reconfigurations, customer relocations, inventory migrations, rack/PnP optimization, consolida tion, and warehouse reorganization.Investigate recurring discrepancies and operational issues using root-cause analysis and recommend corrective and preventive actions.Work with Operations, Inventory Control, Supervisors, Customer Service, and other stakeholders to convert analysis into executable warehouse plans.Support customer onboarding, expansion, audits, physical inventories, and inventory-related requests by providing accurate data, analysis, and operational recommendations.Present findings to management, including current state, analysis, options, recommended solution, expected impact, risks, and implementation requirements.Perform other analytical, inventory, tasking, or warehouse planning duties as assigned.Job SpecificationsMinimum of one year working in a warehouse environment and inventory receiving or related experience.Basic understanding of inventory control procedures.Understanding of warehousing operations with experience in a 3PL distribution and/or fulfillment environment.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred but not required.Proficient in Microsoft Office.Experience with computerized inventory systems required.Must be computer literate.College education is a plus or work experience equivalent.Extreme attention to detail.Working ConditionsWork performed in a warehouse or distribution center environment, requiring frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and lifting.Exposure to conditions such as dust, noise, concrete flooring, and occasional temperature fluctuations (cold storage or dock areas).High standards for safety and cleanliness; responsible for maintaining organized and hazard-free work areas.According to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the California Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA), employees must be able to perform the “essential job functions with or without a reasonable accommodation.The statements contained herein describe the scope of responsibility and essential functions of this position but should not be an all-inclusive listing of work requirements.
