Job summary

Tractor Supply in Jackson, MI is seeking a Receiver to manage inventory control, receiving accuracy, and compliance routines to support store operations.

You will perform forklift operations, process Direct POs, transfers, and BOPIS/OMNI reconciliation, and partner with the Store Operations Manager on inventory and standards. The role requires reliable attendance and flexibility to work varied shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience: Shipping/receiving experience preferred but not required.
• Retail experience and/or farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge is strongly preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older and possess a valid driver's license.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, reading, writing, and counting skills required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work scheduled shifts, with varied hours, days, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

• Deliver Legendary Service and reinforce Leading with Legendary behaviors through Customer engagement and coaching.
• Use A+ Coaching routines to develop Team Members and improve selling behaviors.
• Complete forklift and propane inspections and key propane use as required.
• Pull waiting OMNI orders in the morning and support BOPIS/OMNI reconciliation routines.
• Receive Direct POs, Mixing Center freight, Bulk Center freight, and DC receiving transfers.
• Stock and tag direct vendor freight, front/sidelot DC freight, and leather footwear.
• Create Fill to Capacity picklists for the Freight Team as assigned.
• Key inventory adjustments and correct discrepancies per standard processes.
• Review Negative On Hand Report and execute required follow-up.
• Review and execute buybacks and RTV processes.
• Check ACT for assigned tasks and complete receiving, inventory, and compliance actions.
• Key daily defectives, print Summary Report, and submit to the Store Operations Manager.
• Complete safety/operational checks such as Fire Extinguisher sign off and hazardous waste disposal where applicable.
