The Dinex Group in New York is seeking a Receiver for La Tête d’Or by Daniel. The role focuses on receiving, inspecting, and organizing inbound products, ensuring quality and correct invoicing for a premier dining operation.

Ideal candidates have 2 years in high-volume or fine dining receiving, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to food safety. This on-site position offers competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience receiving in a high-volume or fine dining environment
• Must communicate clearly with managers and teammates
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage areas
• Practice food safety procedures consistently
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect all inbound products for quality, temperature and accuracy.
• Verify invoice against items ordered or received.
• Properly wash, store, rotate, and secure products using FIFO standards
• Advise drivers/Chefs of short shipments and arrange for credit notes.
• Transport products to assigned storerooms and provide organized storage of all items for future use.
• Check date on perishable food items.
• Maintain cleanliness of storage areas including fridges, freezers and dry storage areas.
• May assist with other duties as needed.
