Job summary

Soho House in Miami Beach is seeking a Receiver to manage all beverage and food stock for the house, ensuring accurate receiving, storage, and distribution. The role emphasizes cleanliness of storage areas, FIFO workflows, and inventory reporting to management.

The successful candidate will have at least 1 year of relevant experience, good English literacy, and a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• 1+ years’ relative experience in a professional, efficient service operation.
• Ability to read and write English; able to read labels and follow safety instructions.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to work effectively under time constraints and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Receive all beverage and food orders and verify quantity received.
• Support vendors and management in receiving supplies as needed.
• Inspect and reject unacceptable merchandise based on quality and quantity.
• Distribute merchandise according to food safety rules and storage orders.
• Ensure FIFO flow for walk-ins and freezers.
• Record inventory and report results to management.
• Complete daily checklists with overnight porter.
• Wipe down and sanitize bar storage areas to maintain a safe environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.
