Job summary

Acme Markets in Pennsylvania seeks a Receiver / Inventory Control Clerk (ICC) to oversee Direct Store Delivery (DSD) operations and ensure merchandise is received accurately and stocked. You will walk the store daily to scan items, spot stock issues, and collaborate with order writers, night crew, merchandisers, and the File Maintenance Clerk.

Qualifications

• Experience with receiving, tracking, and reconciling inventory in a retail/grocery setting.
• Basic computer skills including email, Excel, and store portals.
• Ability to monitor damaged, expired, or salvageable merchandise and process returns for credit.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Direct Store Delivery (DSD) operations and ensure merchandise is received and stocked.
• Walk the store daily to scan DSD items and identify out-of-stock or overstock conditions.
• Partner with order writers, night crew, merchandisers, and File Maintenance Clerk to ensure accuracy.
• Communicate regularly with the Store Director to support inventory accuracy and promotional execution.
• Monitor donations and manage grocery and non-perishable inventories.
• Maintain a secure, clean, and organized backroom.
