Job summary

Albertsons Companies Inc. is seeking a Receiver / Inventory Control Clerk (ICC) at our Downingtown area store.

In this role, you’ll oversee Direct Store Delivery (DSD) operations, ensure merchandise is received, counted, and stocked, and walk the sales floor daily to scan items. You’ll partner with order writers, night crew, merchandisers, and the Store Director to maintain inventory accuracy, support promotions, and keep backroom organized.

Qualifications

• Experience receiving, tracking, and reconciling inventory in retail.
• Basic computer skills including email, Excel, and store portals.
• Ability to monitor damaged or salvageable merchandise and process returns.
• Maintain cleanliness and security in backroom and receiving areas.
• Communicate effectively with vendors, drivers, and store management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee DSD operations and ensure merchandise is received and stocked accurately.
• Walk the store to scan items and identify out-of-stock or overstock conditions.
• Collaborate with order writers, night crew, merchandisers, and the Store Director to support inventory accuracy.
