Job summary

Tractor Supply seeks a Receiver to manage receiving, inventory adjustments, and compliance for store operations. You will support reconciliation routines, transfers, and PODs while maintaining safety and service standards in a retail environment.

The role emphasizes accuracy in receiving, collaboration with the Store Operations Manager, and daily attention to inventory integrity with an emphasis on customer service and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older and must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Shipping/receiving experience preferred but not required.
• Retail experience and/or farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance (Essential Duties).
• Work varied hours, days, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Greet customers and uncover their needs and wants; recommend product solutions.
• Deliver Legendary Service and reinforce customer engagement and team accountability.
• Complete forklift and propane inspections as required.
• Receive Direct POs, freight, and transfers; execute unloads and stage items.
• Stock and tag freight and direct vendor items according to process standards.
• Create picklists and manage inventory adjustments and reconciliation.
• Partner with Store Operations Manager on inventory control and compliance actions.
