Job summary

Xerox is seeking an Inventory Control / Purchasing Associate in Oak Brook, IL to support purchasing, inventory control, and AV order coordination. You will collaborate with vendors, warehouse teams and internal partners to ensure accurate purchasing, timely installations, and efficient inventory operations.

This role requires strong organizational skills and proficiency with MS Office and E-Automate. This is a hands-on position that offers cross-functional exposure and opportunities to improve

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong written and verbal customer service and communication skills.
• Self-motivated and collaborative approach with a commitment to accurate task completion and follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Process equipment, supply, audiovisual, and out-of-geography receipts and maintain related records in E-Automate.
• Create purchase orders, establish new items, update sales orders, and maintain equipment records.
• Review AV orders for accuracy, coordinate installation schedules, place service calls, and follow up with customers.
• Work with vendors on pricing, delivery timelines, discrepancies, and damage claims while supporting price comparisons.
• Support inventory control activities, including quarterly physical inventories, while partnering with Accounts Payable, Billing, Leasing, and Warehouse teams.
