Job summary

Xerox Corporation is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist / Associate to support our Distribution Center. You will ensure proper allocation of work, collaborate with Warehouse, Purchasing, Billing, and Service teams, and help deliver orders from start to finish.

The role emphasizes inventory accuracy, communication with customers on delivery details, and teamwork within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in inventory management, purchasing and receiving.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Process inventory control tasks and ensure accuracy.
• Coordinate with inventory manager on stock levels and future needs.

Overview:
Xerox Corporation is an information services technology company that hascontinually redefined the workplace experience for more than 100 years is currently seeking an InventoryControl Specialist / Associate to support our Distribution Center. As an Inventory Control SpecialistAssociate you will be responsible in ensuring that work is properly allocated and completed in a timelymanner and works closely with the Warehouse Manager, purchasing department, leasing / billingdepartment, service and asset disposition teams to ensure the order is completed from start to finish. TheInventory Control Specialist / Associate must also communicate and work with other departments andmanagement to relay information and resolve issues. Communicates with the customer on delivery datesand times.

Job Functions

• Process out of geography sales orders
• Preparation and review of all paperwork regarding inventory control
• Works closely with inventory manager to maintain general stock levels and future needs
• Communicates status of orders/backorders to Sales Department
• Contact customer to confirm and schedule delivery/pickups
• Assist in verifying inventory for quarterly physical inventories
• Assist in reconcil­ing Demo Floor Inventory
• Audit reports to ensure inventory accuracy
• Work closely with sister companies
• Fulfill all Backorders
• Support Sales unconditionally
• Sustain positive culture
• Assign serial numbers to Sales Orders
• Work closely with Billing / Leasing Department
• Works closely with Installation / Training Department

Responsibilities

• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and financial objectives.
• Ability to work in a fast past environment
• Previous Experience in inventory control and processing
• Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be able to deal with differing personalities.
• Strong initiative and willingness to seek out information.
• Organizational Skills and ability to handle multiple tasks in a sometime demanding environment is critical.
• Must be able to work evening and/or weekend hours during peak periods

Education and Experience

• Required: At least 2 years’ experience in inventory management, purchasing and receiving
• Preferred: At least 4 years’ experience in inventory management, purchasing and receiving
• High School Diploma or GED
