Alta Equipment Group is seeking an Inventory Specialist for the Avon, OH area to manage purchasing and physical inventory alongside procurement and accounting teams. The role focuses on accuracy, efficiency, and timely replenishment of parts while maintaining ERP data integrity.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent with 2–4 years of relevant experience, plus strong communication skills and proficiency in MS Word and Excel.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum High School or equivalent degree.
• Associates degree or technical certifications preferred.
• Two to four years of work experience with strong performance and reliability.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Sound planning, organizing, and execution skills.
• Computer savvy; MS Word and Excel; ability to learn other programs.

Aufgaben

• Forecasting parts inventory needs and ordering to maintain optimal levels.
• Monitor inventory levels, analyze demand patterns and adjust inventory strategies.
• Oversee day-to-day shipping and receiving processes and personnel.
• Manage cycle counting and inventory accuracy.
• Identify slow-moving or high-demand inventory and recommend actions.
• Maintain accurate inventory locations and stocking parameters in the ERP system.
• Develop and monitor inventory metrics like turns, stockouts, and fill rate.
• Create daily, weekly and monthly reports on budget, forecast and fulfillment.
