Job summary

Zenith Systems is seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Associate to support TD/AV project teams. The role involves sourcing, ordering, expediting, and coordinating delivery of low-voltage and technology materials for active construction projects.

You will work closely with project managers, field personnel, suppliers, and warehouse operations to keep projects supplied and moving forward. The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of purchasing experience, strong organizational skills, and familiarity

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, construction management, technology, or a related field preferred.
Two to five years of purchasing, procurement, order management, or material coordination experience preferred.
Experience in construction industry and AV/low-voltage projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

Source, order, expediting, and coordinate delivery of specialized materials for TD/AV projects.
Review supplier quotations; confirm pricing, lead times, freight, and delivery commitments.
Create and track purchase orders; maintain accurate vendor, order, and project data in the system.
Coordinate direct-to-jobsite or warehouse deliveries and resolve shipment issues.
Identify opportunities to consolidate orders and reduce unnecessary expedited freight.
