Job summary

Washoe County School District is seeking a skilled storekeeper to manage inventory, purchasing, receiving, and distribution of school supplies and equipment. You will maintain stock records, conduct inventory, and ensure accurate records and reporting.

Role requires coordinating with vendors and district staff to optimize costs and ensure timely delivery. The position is a 40-hour per week role with a focus on accuracy, safety, and compliance with district policies.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to a HS diploma or higher.
• 3 years of advanced journey-level storeroom/warehouse experience, including lead duties.

Responsibilities

• Maintain stock records and conduct physical/perpetual inventory.
• Evaluate products, manage purchasing, and communicate with vendors and district staff.
• Receive, store, and distribute supplies; ensure correct delivery against orders and invoices.
