Job summary

Washoe County School District is seeking a Warehouse Worker/Driver I to receive, store, and distribute supplies and equipment across district locations. The role includes inspecting vehicles, handling inventory, and performing light to moderate physical tasks along with driving a delivery route.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of responsible experience driving a delivery route; Refrigerated truck systems experience preferred.
• One year of general warehousing, stock, or inventory control experience; forklift experience preferred.
• Knowledge of reading, writing, and basic math; basic computer skills; traffic laws and defensive driving.

Responsibilities

• Inspects trucks and equipment; notifies supervisor of repairs; maintains vehicles and warehouse areas.
• Receives and stores supplies and equipment; assists in inventory checks and cycle counts.
• Delivers to district sites; loads and unloads goods; uses forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks as needed.
• Provides customer service to district schools and staff; records receipts and stock movements accurately.
