Job summary

The Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) in Augusta, ME seeks an Inventory & Property Associate I to support warehouse operations. You will sort packing slips, reconcile vendor statements, and enter capital equipment into databases, while maintaining an efficient inventory system.

Qualifications

• Experience in inventory and property management, with ability to handle exceptions and prioritize tasks.
• Strong attention to details and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and database entry processes.

Responsibilities

• Sort and match packing slips and invoices, reconciling against vendor statements.
• Enter capital equipment into databases and maintain inventory system.
• Answer inquiries from vendors regarding account balances and status.
• Create computerized requisitions, purchase orders, and delivery orders as requested.
• Collaborate with management on projects and work independently on delegated tasks.
• Identify inaccuracies in vendor databases and maintain organization-wide spreadsheets.
• Support HETL orders and assist with laboratory sample distribution.
