The Maine Health and Environmental Testing Laboratory (HETL) Finance Team is looking for an Inventory & Property Associate I to complete ordering of supplies and tracking for laboratorians and processing of inventory in a precise manner. The HETL provides and oversees analytical testing of clinical, environmental, and forensic specimens/samples/evidence to provide surveillance data to monitor public and environmental health. The collected data is used to make policy decisions and emergency corrective actions statewide. As a key member of the HETL Finance team, your core responsibilities will include:
Training, education or experience in office and administrative support work that demonstrates 1) competency in applying a solid knowledge of inventory and property management principles to perform complex work in conducting inventory operations for a warehouse or stockroom and 2) the ability to use independent judgment in handling exceptions to established work assignments, priorities and schedules. All positions in this classification assume the qualifications of: Inventory and Property Assistant.
