Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking an Inventory Management & Project Coordinator to optimize inventory across renewable assets including solar facilities, BESS, substations, and BOP equipment. The role focuses on inventory control, replenishment, auditing, warehousing, and reporting across the fleet.

The position also supports project coordination for renewable operations, maintenance initiatives, and small-scale projects, ensuring accurate records, smooth material flow, and timely procurement.

Qualifications

• Requires 2-3 years of inventory management, warehouse ops, or renewable operations experience.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
• Knowledge of solar/BESS/substations and renewable maintenance operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records for spare parts, consumables, tools, and equipment.
• Manage inventory transactions: receipts, issues, transfers, adjustments, returns.
• Ensure all movements are documented and traceable; monitor stock levels and reorder points.
• Coordinate receipt, storage, and distribution across sites; track serialized/high-value components.
• Oversee warehouse and storeroom locations; ensure organized, labeled, and secure inventory.
• Create and track purchase requisitions and orders; monitor supplier deliveries.
• Lead annual and cycle audits; investigate and resolve discrepancies; ensure audit readiness.
• Provide monthly inventory reports and identify efficiency improvements.
• Develop and maintain inventory procedures and best practices.
• Assist with tracking small-scale projects and coordinating documentation.
