Job summary

Habitat for Humanity Philadelphia is seeking an Inventory & Operations professional to join our Main Office team in Philadelphia, PA. You will manage picking, staging, and distribution of materials, maintain accuracy in Sortly, and coordinate with project teams to keep construction on schedule.

Responsibilities also include procurement, vendor relations, warehouse safety, asset management, and volunteering coordination.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in residential construction, warehouse operations, facilities management, inventory control, or maintenance.
• Two years of experience in purchasing, inventory management, and vendor coordination, with the ability to source materials, negotiate pricing, and ensure quality and delivery.
• Working knowledge of residential construction materials, tools, and equipment; hands-on construction, repair, or maintenance experience preferred.
• Proficiency with power tools, hand tools, construction equipment, and work vehicles.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel); inventory management software preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational, planning, and time-management skills with scheduling and deadlines.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• OSHA 30 certification, or the ability to obtain within first three months.
• Desire to support Habitat for Humanity's mission and work with diverse people.

Responsibilities

• Manage picking, staging, issuance, and distribution of materials to support field operations and project schedules.
• Receive, inspect, document, and process returned materials in Sortly; ensure accurate records and proper storage.
• Restock, organize, store, label, and track inventory including special-order items to maintain stock levels and safety.
• Maintain inventory records, audits, reconciliations, and controls to ensure accuracy.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, carpenters, and field staff to ensure materials are available for construction schedules.
• Provide logistical support for field operations, including delivery of materials and transport of debris.
