Job summary

Jewish Family And Children's Service of Greater Philadelphia is seeking an Operations and Inventory Coordinator to oversee warehouse activities, manage donations, and coordinate volunteers for Our Closet programs across the Philadelphia area.

You will maintain inventory, prepare for community distributions, and work with colleagues to ensure safe, efficient operations and timely clothing distribution to clients in need.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• Associate degree or coursework in logistics, business, inventory management, nonprofit management, operations, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of two years of successful work experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, logistics coordination, or related field.
• Experience coordinating volunteers and managing inventory systems is strongly preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, organization, cleanliness, and safety.
• Manage inventory processes: receiving, sorting, categorizing, storing, tracking, and distributing donated items.
• Coordinate donation drop-offs and pickups; ensure timely processing and distribution.
• Recruit, schedule, supervise, and support volunteers.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory, donations, distributions, and volunteer activities.
• Support program staff to meet urgent clothing requests and community needs.
