Job summary

Walgreens is seeking an Inventory & Operations Associate to manage front end and pharmacy stock, accuracy of planograms, and vendor returns. You will engage customers, support price changes, and assist with daily cash handling as needed in designated stores.

Responsibilities include warehouse receiving, order processing, and end-to-end inventory tasks to ensure On-Shelf Availability and compliance with policies. A flexible schedule and English proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• Six months of prior work experience with Walgreens (internal) or one year of prior retail work experience (external).
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to multi task and manage execution.
• Experience in identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems.

Responsibilities

• Execute, monitor, and train inventory best practices and SOPs for store, including front end and pharmacy.
• Support pharmacy inventory management (receiving, counting, ordering, returns).
• Manage on-shelf availability, including receiving, counting, pricing, returns, and planograms accuracy.
• Review and coordinate use of reports and systems affecting on-hand balances and pricing.
• Execute and coach team on warehouse and vendor inventory processes (orders, receiving).
• Verify pharmacy shipments posted for products received; complete postings for pharmacy orders and recalls as needed.
• Complete On-Shelf Availability end-to-end for planogrammed departments, including disposals and vendor returns.
• Maintain inventory counts and compliance with state/local laws on regulated products; assist with physical inventory and auditing.
• Assist and coach store team on package deliveries, scanning, and pickup program execution.
• Serve as leader on duty in designated stores, handle POS records, price verifications, returns, and cash handling.
