Job summary

Walgreens is seeking an Inventory & Operations Associate to support front end and pharmacy inventory, including receiving, counting, ordering, pricing, and returns. You will validate planograms and ensure on-shelf availability.

You will review reports and systems to keep front end and pharmacy on-hand balances accurate, and you will execute pricing changes and manage stock across departments. In designated stores you may open/close, handle cash, lead during shifts, and coach team members on

Qualifications

• Six months of prior retail experience preferred (internal Walgreens candidates may apply).
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience identifying operational issues and suggesting improvements.

Responsibilities

• Execute and monitor inventory best practices for the full store and pharmacy, including receiving, counting, ordering, and returns.
• Validate planograms and ensure accuracy of front end and pharmacy on-hand balances and pricing.
• Implement asset protection techniques and file related claims for shortages and overages.
• Open and close the store in designated situations, including cash handling and cashier responsibilities.
• Review reports and system applications affecting inventory accuracy and pricing.
• Support warehouse and vendor inventory processes, including receiving orders and scanning deliveries.
