Job summary

Walgreens is hiring for a store associate role focused on inventory, front-end and pharmacy processes. You will work to maintain On‑Shelf Availability, manage deliveries, and ensure accurate pricing and planograms.

The position requires English fluency, a flexible schedule including evenings/weekends, and prior retail experience. Training is provided and OSHA/safety guidelines must be followed.

Qualifications

• Six months of prior work experience with Walgreens (internal candidates) or one year of prior retail work experience (external candidates).
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Must have a willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to multi task and manage execution.
• Experience in identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems.
• Preferred: previous experience as a shift lead, pharmacy technician, designated hitter, or customer service associate.
• Preferred: prior work experience with Walgreens, with an evaluation on file.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory accuracy and on-hand balances for front end and pharmacy.
• Execute and monitor pricing changes and ensure correct signage.
• Receive, count, and process deliveries; handle vendor returns.
• Assist in opening/closing duties and POS operations as leader on duty.
• Maintain clean, well-merchandised counters and shelves.
