AppleOne Employment Services is seeking an Inventory Specialist for a contract opportunity in Orlando, FL. The role supports merchandise planning, purchasing, and vendor coordination within a fast-paced travel/entertainment environment.

The ideal candidate has experience in inventory management, merchandising, and data-driven processes, with strong Excel skills and vendor communication abilities. Work is in-office, Monday to Friday, for 6–7+ months.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience preferred in inventory, merchandising, purchasing, supply chain, or related admin support.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong data entry and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and vendor management skills.
• Ability to review purchase orders, invoices, and inventory data.

Responsibilities

• Create, update, and maintain new and replenishment purchase orders.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams on shipping schedules and order status.
• Support vendor setup and auto-replenishment programs.
• Validate UPC information and assist with inventory transfers.
• Review invoices and PO data for accuracy.
• Investigate discrepancies in accounts payable, vendors, and inventory.
