Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc is seeking an Inventory Manager to optimize stock levels, manage DSO, and reduce spoilage across 2,300–4,000 SKUs from vendor direct and redistributed lines.

The role collaborates with local, market and corporate teams and uses the Manhatten DPR tool to drive KPI performance. Strong Excel and communication skills are essential in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Qualifications

• Must have 3+ years of inventory management/purchasing experience.
• Experience in retail/wholesale or distribution environment.
• Experience with distributor SKUs 10,000+ preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory levels while maximizing customer service.
• Manage inventory DSO, aged, obsolete, spoilage and shrink.
• Collaborate with merchandising teams, suppliers and other functions.
• Utilize DPR to drive performance via scorecards and KPIs.
• Work with logistics to maximize supply chain efficiencies.
• Coordinate inbound planning to optimize receiving and warehousing.
• Manage SKU count and resolve replenishment issues.
• Execute purchasing of new items and proper system set up.
• Process Salesforce 360 requests including NISR and MSR.
• Respond to market conditions and seasonal trends.
