Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a detail-oriented inventory associate in New Jersey to manage store and pharmacy stock, execute receiving and returns, and ensure accurate pricing and planograms. You will support the pharmacy with recalls, audits and daily postings while maintaining high standards of customer service.

You will also assist with opening/closing duties, POS tasks, and train teammates on inventory best practices to deliver a seamless shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Six months of prior Walgreens experience or one year of retail experience.
• Fluent reading, writing and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Proven attention to detail and multi-tasking ability.
• Experience identifying operational issues and implementing corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Execute, monitor and train inventory best practices and SOPs for store, front end and pharmacy.
• Support pharmacy inventory management: receiving, counting, ordering and returns.
• Maintain On-Shelf Availability and accurate planograms; manage pricing and returns.
• Open/close the store in absence of management; handle cash and POS duties as needed.
• Review reports affecting front end and pharmacy on-hand balances and pricing.
• Complete pricing changes, markdowns and ensure signage accuracy.
• Assist with front end and pharmacy orders and maintain inventory accuracy.
