Job summary

Walgreens is seeking an Inventory Associate to manage front end and pharmacy inventory, assist with receiving, counting, ordering, and vendor returns. You will help maintain planograms, price updates, and stock levels while ensuring accurate on-hand balances.

You will engage customers, resolve issues, and support store operations including opening/closing duties and cash handling as required. Prior Walgreens experience is preferred and a flexible schedule is essential.

Qualifications

• Six months of Walgreens experience or one year in retail.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Attention to detail with ability to multi-task and execute.
• Experience identifying operational issues and implementing resolutions.

Responsibilities

• Execute, monitor, and train inventory best practices for store and pharmacy.
• Support pharmacy inventory management, including receiving, counting, ordering, and returns.
• Manage front end and pharmacy asset protection with loss prevention tasks.
• Open/close designated stores as needed and handle cash responsibilities.
• Engage customers and resolve issues to ensure a positive experience.
• Lead warehouse and vendor inventory processes, create and receive orders, and scan deliveries.
• Verify pharmacy shipments and postings, and complete pharmacy/ABC orders daily.
• Complete On-Shelf Availability end-to-end processes and vendor returns.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts across departments and stockrooms.
