Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a store inventory associate to execute, monitor and train inventory best practices for the entire store including front end and pharmacy. You will support pharmacy inventory management activities such as receiving, counting, ordering and facilitating returns while ensuring planogram accuracy and on-shelf availability.

In addition to pricing tasks and daily inventory counts, you will handle asset protection, scanning deliveries, and shop floor readiness.

Qualifications

• Six months of prior work experience with Walgreens or one year in retail
• Fluent reading, writing and speaking English (except Puerto Rico)
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings/weekends
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to multi task
• Experience identifying operational issues and implementing improvements

Responsibilities

• Execute, monitor and train inventory best practices for the entire store, including front end and pharmacy
• Support pharmacy inventory management: receiving, counting, ordering and returns
• Manage front end and pharmacy asset protection and post relevant claims
• Open/close store in absence of management and handle required cash and POS tasks
• Execute pricing activities: price changes, markdowns and signage
• Coordinate warehouse/vendor inventory, including receiving, scanning, and discrepancies
• Post pharmacy shipments and manage postings for recalls, recalls and pharmacist duties
• Support On-Shelf Availability end-to-end for planogram compliance and disposals
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and ensure compliance with regulations for regulated products
• Coach team on package deliveries, scans, and pickups as part of inventory processes
• Communicate tasks as lead on duty and document pricing verifications and voids
• Attend trainings and maintain pharmacy license/certifications
