Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Store Inventory Lead to manage inventory practices across both front-end and pharmacy areas. You will handle receiving, counting, pricing, returns, and planogram compliance under the pharmacist-in-charge, and ensure accurate on-hand balances and supplier orders.

Responsibilities include scanning deliveries, posting pharmacy shipments, and supporting pricing tasks while maintaining stock integrity. A flexible schedule and strong attention to detail are required.

Qualifications

• Fluent in reading, writing and speaking English (except Puerto Rico).
• Six months of prior work experience in Walgreens or one year of retail experience for external candidates.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to multitask and manage execution.
• Experience identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Executes inventory best practices and standard operating procedures for the store, including front end and pharmacy.
• Supports pharmacy inventory management activities such as receiving, counting, ordering, and facilitating returns.
• Champions On-Shelf Availability (OSA) and manages planograms, pricing, and returns.
• Reviews and coordinates use of reports and systems affecting on-hand balances and pricing.
• Executes front end and pharmacy asset protection and loss prevention activities.
• Opens and closes the store in the absence of management in designated stores, including cash handling and POS responsibilities.
• Engages customers, assists with products and services, and resolves issues to ensure positive experiences.
• Coaches team on warehouse and vendor inventory management, including creating, reviewing, and receiving orders.
• Manages deliveries, scans, and postings of pharmacy shipments and vendor orders under pharmacist supervision.
