Job summary

Walgreens is seeking an Inventory and Operations Associate to execute, monitor, and train inventory best practices for the store, covering both front end and pharmacy. You will support pharmacy inventory management activities, including receiving, counting, ordering, and returns, and ensure planograms are accurate across departments.

In designated stores, you may open/close the store, perform cash handling, and manage cashier duties.

Qualifications

• Six months of prior retail work experience, preferably with Walgreens.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to multi task.

Responsibilities

• Execute, monitor, and train inventory best practices and SOPs for the store, including front end and pharmacy.
• Support pharmacy inventory management activities (receiving, counting, ordering, returns).
• Open and close the store in designated stores when required, including cash handling and cashier responsibilities.
• Review and coordinate proper use of reports and systems affecting on-hand balances and pricing.
• Execute and maintain front end and pharmacy asset protection techniques and post warehouse/vendor overages/shortages.
