Job summary

Walgreens in Wildwood, Missouri seeks an Inventory Specialist to oversee store-wide inventory practices for front end and pharmacy, including receiving, counting, pricing, returns, and planogram accuracy.

You will review reports, protect assets, and ensure proper cash handling and POS operations while supporting stock management and vendor interactions. This role requires attention to detail and flexibility, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

Six months of prior work experience with Walgreens or one year of prior retail work experience.
Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
Attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
Experience in identifying operational issues and resolving problems.

Responsibilities

Execute, monitor, and train inventory best practices for the full store including pharmacy.
Review reports and systems to ensure accurate on-hand balances and pricing.
Maintain front end and pharmacy asset protection and manage receipts/discrepancies.
Open/close the store in designated locations and handle cash and POS responsibilities.
Manage warehouse and vendor inventory processes and One Box receiving.
Post pharmacy shipments and maintain accuracy of postings.
Support pricing tasks and basic department pricing.
Assist in inventory day preparation and keep counters clean.
