Job summary

Walgreens is seeking an Inventory Lead in our Missouri stores to execute, monitor, and train inventory best practices across front-end and pharmacy operations. You will manage receiving, counting, pricing, returns, and planograms, while ensuring On-Shelf Availability and accurate on-hand balances.

This role supports warehouse and vendor processes, scans deliveries, posts pharmacy shipments, and assists with price changes, stock control, and store-wide inventory procedures under the

Qualifications

• Six months of prior work experience with Walgreens (internal candidates) or one year of prior retail work experience (external candidates).
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Must have a willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to multi task and manage execution.
• Experience in identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems.

Responsibilities

• Execute, monitor, and train inventory best practices for the store and pharmacy.
• Review reports and systems to ensure accurate front-end and pharmacy on-hand balances.
• Manage pricing, returns, and warehouse/vendor shipments; perform audits as needed.
• Scans and receives deliveries, including One Box receiving, and resolves order discrepancies.
• Support store leadership in opening/closing and cash handling as required.
