Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Stores Inventory & Operations Associate to support both front-end and pharmacy inventory management, pricing, and asset protection. You will assist in receiving, counting, and returning merchandise, while ensuring planograms are accurate and shelves are well merchandised.

You will engage customers, model service best practices, and help resolve issues to deliver a positive Walgreens experience. Flexibility for evenings/weekends and prior retail exposure are valued.

Qualifications

• Six months of Walgreens experience or one year of retail experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to multi task.
• Experience in identifying operational issues and resolving problems.

Responsibilities

• Execute and monitor store inventory processes, including front end and pharmacy.
• Review reports and systems to ensure accurate on-hand balances and pricing.
• Perform front end and pharmacy asset protection tasks and manage returns and shortages.
• Open/close store in absence of management and handle cash duties.
• Engage customers, resolve issues, and model Walgreens service standards.
• Coach team on warehouse, vendor inventory processes, and order handling.
• Complete pricing activities, perform price changes and markdowns.
• Support ordering for front end and pharmacy, monitor excess orders, and manage inventory counts.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts across stockroom, shelves, and planograms.
• Ensure compliance with state/local laws for regulated products.
