Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a store/inventory associate to execute and monitor inventory best practices for both front end and pharmacy. You will support receiving, counting, ordering, pricing, returns, and planogram accuracy while maintaining On-Shelf Availability across departments.

The role includes engaging customers, resolving issues, coaching colleagues on inventory systems, and assisting with warehouse and vendor processes. Flexibility for evenings/weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Six months of prior Walgreens experience or one year of prior retail work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Must have a willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to multi task and manage execution.
• Experience in identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems.

Responsibilities

• Execute, monitor, and train inventory best practices for the entire store, including front end and pharmacy.
• Support pharmacy inventory management activities including receiving, counting, ordering, and returns.
• Verify and maintain On-Shelf Availability and inventory processes across departments.
• Open and close the store in the absence of store management and handle cash-rights where required.
• Engage customers, resolve issues, and deliver a positive customer experience.
