Job summary

Walgreens is seeking an Inventory Associate to execute, monitor, and train inventory best practices for both front end and pharmacy. You will support receiving, counting, ordering, and returns, and ensure planograms and on-shelf availability.

The role also covers pricing, stock counts, and warehouse/DSD processes to keep the store compliant and well merchandised. The ideal candidate brings attention to detail, flexibility to work evenings or weekends, and experience with store systems and cash

Qualifications

• Six months of Walgreens experience or 1 year retail experience.
• Fluent in reading, writing and speaking English.
• Willing to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
• Experience identifying operational issues and implementing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Execute and monitor inventory best practices and standard operating procedures for the store, including front end and pharmacy.
• Support pharmacy inventory management activities, including receiving, counting, ordering, and returns.
• Open and close the store in the absence of store management, with required cash handling and POS duties.
• Complete pricing activities including price changes and signage accuracy.
• Coach team on inventory systems and package deliveries and checkout processes.
