Job summary

Walgreens in Clinton, MA is seeking a Store Associate focusing on inventory, front end and pharmacy support. You will execute inventory best practices, receive and price goods, and ensure on-shelf availability while upholding asset protection and loss prevention standards.

As leader on duty in designated stores, you may handle cash, assist customers, coach teammates, and maintain accurate records across POS and inventory systems.

Qualifications

• Six months of prior work experience with Walgreens (internal candidates) or one year of prior retail work experience (external candidates).
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Must have a willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to multi task and manage execution.
• Experience in identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems.

Responsibilities

• Executes and coaches team members on warehouse and vendor inventory management processes including but not limited to creating, reviewing, and receiving orders.
• Scans in all deliveries while the vendor is still in the store, including common carrier deliveries.
• Under the supervision of the pharmacist-in-charge, verifies all pharmacy shipments are posted for products physically received at the store.
• Completes On-Shelf Availability (OSA) end-to-end process including warehouse and direct store delivery (DSD) for planogrammed departments.
• Under the supervision of the pharmacist-in-charge, completes pharmacy inventory activities including recalls, vendor returns, and damaged salvage returns.
• Completes execution of all pricing activities including price changes and markdowns.
• Responsible for front end and pharmacy ordering by ordering inventory items, monitoring orders for excess.
• Ensures on-hands and shelf stock are updated and compliant with planograms.
• Maintains accuracy of inventory counts across departments and stockrooms.
• Assists and coaches store team on all package delivery activities including pickup program.
