Job summary

Walgreens is seeking an inventory and operations associate to manage frontline and pharmacy stock and pricing. You will verify shipments, process orders, and support recalls and shelf maintenance while ensuring accurate counts and planograms across departments.

You will engage customers, resolve questions, and model service excellence. The role requires flexible scheduling, prior retail experience, and meticulous attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Six months of prior Walgreens or one year of prior retail work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to multi task and execute.
• Experience in identifying operational issues and recommending solutions.

Responsibilities

• Inventory management across front end and pharmacy, including receiving, counting, ordering, and returns.
• Review and coordinate use of reports and systems affecting on‑hand balances and pricing.
• Execute front end and pharmacy asset protection and post related claims.
• Open/close store when needed and handle cash and POS responsibilities.
• Engage customers and lead service excellence to ensure a positive experience.
• Coach team on warehouse, vendor inventory, and order processing.
• Support pricing activities, including price changes and markdowns.
• Assist with pharmacy shipments postings and recalls as required.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and planogram compliance.
