Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a detail-oriented inventory associate to support both front-end and pharmacy operations in an on-site store. You will execute inventory best practices, validate planograms, review reports, and participate in pricing and asset protection.

The role includes opening/closing duties, coaching team members, and ensuring accurate stock levels and efficient warehouse processes. Responsibilities span warehouse receiving, vendor returns, recalls, and pharmacy postings under pharmacist

Qualifications

Must hold a valid pharmacy license or certification as required by the state.
Experience with inventory control and pricing accuracy in retail or pharmacy settings.
Ability to operate front end and pharmacy warehouse processes with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Execute, monitor, and train inventory best practices for the entire store including front end and pharmacy.
Review reports and system applications affecting on-hand balances and pricing.
Perform asset protection tasks and manage vendor overages, shortages, and returns.
Open/close duties in designated stores and ensure readiness for business day.
Engage customers, resolve issues, and coach team on service excellence.
Manage warehouse and vendor inventory, data entry, and takedown of recalls.
Ensure accurate posting of pharmacy shipments and inventory counts.
