Job summary

Whisker is seeking an Inventory & Order Coordinator to maintain inventory accuracy through daily cycle counts and support order preparation. This role links warehouse operations with order administration to ensure accurate inventory, proper order fulfillment, and proactive issue resolution.

The position requires strong attention to detail, organization, and communication as you work closely with Warehouse Operations, Logistics, and Production. Overtime and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, administrative support, or a related field.
• Experience working with ERP systems.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Suite applications.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrated reliability and ability to maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
• Comfortable working around office pets (cats, dogs).

Responsibilities

• Maintains inventory accuracy through daily cycle counts and supports order preparation.
• Collaborates with warehouse operations, logistics, and production.
• Assists with inventory audits and physical inventories.
• Prepares and distributes shipping labels and order documentation.
• Reviews orders for completeness and accuracy before fulfillment.
• Prioritizes customer orders based on shipping needs and communicates issues.
• Maintains records and SOPs, and supports continuous improvement initiatives.
