Job summary

Watts Water Technologies in North Andover, MA, is seeking a Sr. Inventory Optimization Specialist to optimize inventory deployment and network performance within the Supply Chain Management team.

The role partners with Product Management, Manufacturing Operations, Distribution Centers, Demand Planning, and Commercial teams to balance service levels with working capital, develop dashboards, and drive cross-functional improvements across the network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations or Finance.
• 5+ years of experience in supply chain management using inventory tools.
• Experience with ERP systems; SAP preferred and understanding of ERP integration with supply chain.
• Proven proficiency in inventory management and cost reduction initiatives.
• Experience with Windows and Microsoft Office.
• Strong analytical, organizational, decision-making and presentation skills.
• Strong facilitation and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and refinement of inventory dashboards, KPIs and reporting tools.
• Analyze inventory performance across DCs, agents and locations to identify optimization opportunities.
• Serve as primary contact for supply chain issues raised by agents and ensure timely resolution.
• Identify inventory rebalancing opportunities to improve availability and reduce excess inventory.
• Recommend stocking location strategies to improve service and reduce logistics costs.
• Monitor inventory health and service metrics; perform root-cause analysis and preventive actions.
• Coordinate action plans to mitigate shortages, excess inventory and service risks.
• Collaborate with Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Manufacturing, Distribution, Sourcing and Commercial teams to balance priorities against supply.
