Job summary

Walgreens in Cedar Falls, IA is seeking a Store Inventory Associate to implement and monitor inventory best practices across front end and pharmacy. You will manage receiving, counting, ordering, pricing, returns, and validation of planograms to ensure On-Shelf Availability.

Under pharmacist supervision, you will assist with pharmacy warehouse orders, pricing tasks, and inventory reconciliation, while delivering excellent customer service and supporting daily store operations.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Six months of prior Walgreens experience or one year of retail work experience.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule.
• Ability to manage inventory counts, pricing, and store processes.

Responsibilities

• Execute, monitor, and train inventory best practices and SOPs for store including front end and pharmacy.
• Support pharmacy inventory management: receiving, counting, ordering, returns, and planograms validation.
• Review and coordinate reports and system applications impacting on-hand balances and pricing.
• Execute front end and pharmacy asset protection tasks and handle vendor overages, shortages, and damaged goods.
• Open/close store in absence of management and ensure cash handling and POS operations when designated.
• Achieve On-Shelf Availability for planogrammed departments and manage disposals and vendor returns.
