Job summary

Walgreens in Cedar Rapids seeks anInventory Control Associate to manage store inventory for both front end and pharmacy. You will review reports, monitor pricing, and assist with recalls and vendor returns. You will also help with cash handling and store opening/closing when needed.

Responsibilities include ensuring on-shelf availability, executing pricing changes, and supporting warehouse/DSD processes. Prior experience with Walgreens is preferred; strong English skills required.

Qualifications

• Six months of prior work experience with Walgreens or one year of retail work.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Execute, monitor, and train inventory best practices and SOPs for the store, including front end and pharmacy.
• Support pharmacy inventory management: receiving, counting, ordering, returns; ensure planogram accuracy.
• Review reports and applications affecting front end and pharmacy on-hand balances and pricing.
• Open/close duties in designated stores, cash handling, and ensuring floor readiness.
• Engage customers, resolve issues, and model high standard of customer service.
• Lead warehouse and vendor inventory processes: creating, reviewing, and receiving orders.
• Scan deliveries, manage One Box receiving, and correct inaccuracies with vendors.
