Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a detail‑oriented inventory and operations associate for a busy store in Wisconsin. You will manage front end and pharmacy inventory, assist with receiving, counting, pricing, and returns, and ensure planogram compliance while maintaining accurate records.

As a leader on duty, you will greet customers, resolve issues, and coach teammates on inventory systems and processes, including UPS/DSD deliveries and stock transfers. Strong multitasking and English fluency are essential.

Qualifications

• Six months of prior Walgreens (internal) or one year of prior retail experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Experience in identifying operational issues and recommending solutions.

Responsibilities

• Execute, monitor, and train inventory best practices for the store and pharmacy.
• Support pharmacy inventory management activities: receiving, counting, ordering, returns.
• Champion On‑Shelf Availability and handle pricing, returns, and inventory processes.
• Validate and ensure accuracy of planograms and reports affecting on‑hand balances.
• Ensure proper use of postings and system applications impacting inventory and pricing accuracy.
• Execute and maintain front end and pharmacy asset protection techniques and handle overages/shortages.
• Open/close responsibilities in designated stores, handling systems start-ups, cash handling, and sales floor readiness.
• Engage customers, greet and assist with products and services; resolve issues when leading on duty.
• Coach team on warehouse and vendor inventory processes, including receiving orders and scanning deliveries.
• Oversee warehouse deliveries, One Box receiving, and vendor communication for order accuracy.
• Verify pharmacy shipments posted and audit postings of pharmacy warehouse orders daily.
• Complete On‑Shelf Availability end‑to‑end processes for planogrammed departments, including disposals and returns.
• Complete pharmacy inventory activities, recalls, vendor returns, transfers, and shortages/damages reporting.
• Perform pricing activities including price changes, markdowns, signage accuracy, and regulatory pricing tasks.
• Support front end and pharmacy ordering, monitor excess orders, and manage inventory holdings.
• Ensure all designated pull & quarantine items are updated and held appropriately.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts across departments, stockroom, and overstock locations.
• Assist and coach team on package delivery activities, including scanning in/out and pickup program execution.
• Register sales on POS as lead on duty, manage scanning errors, price verifications, and refunds.
