Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Specialist to support both front end and pharmacy operations. You will manage receiving, counting, pricing, returns, and planogram validation to ensure optimal shelf availability.

Additionally, you will monitor inventory reports and assist in pricing, postings, and vendor interactions under pharmacist supervision. You will participate in opening/closing duties, use of POS systems, and ongoing training to maintain accuracy and compliance across

Qualifications

Six months of prior retail work experience (Walgreens preferred).
Ability to read and follow SOPs for inventory and accuracy.
Familiarity with inventory control, pricing, and product movement.

Responsibilities

Execute inventory best practices and SOPs for store and pharmacy inventory.
Support inventory management activities: receiving, counting, ordering, returns.
Ensure on-shelf availability and validate planograms across front end and pharmacy.
Coordinate use of reports and systems affecting on-hand balances and pricing.
Open/close store operations in absence of management and handle cash as required.
Scan deliveries, post shipments, and manage pharmacy orders and recalls under pharmacist supervision.
