Job summary

Walgreens is seeking an inventory-focused team member to support both front end and pharmacy operations. You will monitor and train on inventory best practices, assist in pricing and on-hand balances, and champion On-Shelf Availability across store processes.

You will partner with the pharmacist-in-charge to ensure accurate postings, manage vendor orders and recalls, and help maintain a welcoming, efficient shopping environment for customers.

Qualifications

• Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English is required.
• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task are essential.
• Experience identifying operational issues and implementing improvements.
• Experience with inventory processes and frontline/Pharmacy operations is a plus.
• Ability to use store systems to review reports and manage pricing and on-hand balances.

Responsibilities

• Execute and monitor inventory best practices for both front end and pharmacy.
• Review reports and systems to ensure accurate on-hand balances and pricing.
• Maintain asset protection and manage overages/shortages/damages for warehouse and vendor items.
• Open/close stores as needed, including cash handling and ensuring readiness of floor and stockroom.
• Support customer experience by greeting customers and assisting with products and services.
• Lead warehouse and vendor inventory processes, including creating and receiving orders.
• Scan deliveries, manage One Box receiving, and address undelivered orders with vendors.
• Verify pharmacy shipments postings and manage recalls and returns.
• Complete On-Shelf Availability end-to-end processes for planogrammed departments.
