Job summary

Fervo Energy in Milford, Utah, is seeking an Inventory and Materials Supervisor to lead inventory, warehouse, yard, and material control activities. The role ensures secure storage, accurate records, and timely availability of critical spares and equipment to support commissioning and operations.

You will oversee daily activities, train staff, uphold safety, and coordinate material requirements across Power, Drilling and Completion, Maintenance, and Operations, with performance measured by

Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience in inventory, materials management, warehousing, logistics, or similar environments.
• Experience leading employees, contractors, or site material activities and setting clear daily priorities.
• Knowledge of receiving, storage, preservation, issuing, cycle counting, reconciliation, and material handling.
• Experience maintaining inventory records in a maintenance, warehouse, or inventory system.
• Strong safety and compliance mindset and ability to work full-time in Milford, UT.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily inventory and materials activities: receiving, inspection, storage, issuing, returns, transfers, staging, and reconciliation.
• Supervise site inventory personnel, set priorities, provide training, and enforce safe practices.
• Maintain secure warehouse/yard with labeled locations and defined storage standards.
• Ensure equipment/materials are inspected, preserved, and stored per OEM requirements and site conditions.
• Maintain accurate item data, quantities, locations, and history in the inventory system.
• Plan cycle counts and physical inventories; investigate variances and close corrective actions.
• Coordinate material needs across Power, Drilling and Completion, Maintenance, Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain.
• Report material availability, shortages, and inventory performance; elevate risks to plant reliability.
• Control damaged, excess, obsolete, warranty-related, and repairable inventory per procedures.
• Improve warehouse layout, material flow, and handover processes; maintain safe handling practices.

Education

Associate degree in supply chain / operations
