Job summary

RideNow Powersports - McKinney is seeking an Inventory Manager to oversee used vehicle inventory, update logs, and coordinate with Service and Parts during reconditioning. You will audit logs, stage units for shipment, and drive accuracy across daily operations.

The role requires safe operation of motorcycles, strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Gmail), and meticulous attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. On-site work with benefits is provided.

Qualifications

• Reliable, accountable and capable of maintaining accuracy during peak periods.

Responsibilities

• Purchase and manage used inventory and maintain logs.
• Update daily status and disposition of each vehicle.
• Coordinate with Service and Parts to track reconditioning stages.

• Physically gather and stage vehicles for shipment.
• Conduct regular inventory audits and verify VINs.
• Take vehicle photos and upload to the company site.

Job description

RideNow Powersports - McKinney is looking for an Inventory Manager who's ready to deliver top-tier service!

Main Responsibilities

• Purchase and manage used inventory
• Updating daily logs with the current status and disposition of each vehicle
• Coordinating with various team members in the Service and Parts Departments vehicles passes through various reconditioning stages
• Analyze and audit vehicle logs and reports for accuracy
• Physically gather and stage vehicles marked for shipment prior to the arrival of transport
• Perform periodic inventory audits, including a visual verification of the vehicle and its 17-character VIN, and report any discrepancies
• Take pictures of units and upload them to company website
• Other duties as needed to keep the new facility running smooth. We are all team players!

Requirements

• The ability to safely move and operate motorcycles, some weighting in excess of 850lbs fully dressed
• Proficiency in computer usage and applications such as Word, Excel, Gmail with the ability to navigate multiple software systems easily
• Detailed oriented in a high volume, high urgency environment
• Reliable, accountable, self-motivated, and able to maintain work quality and accuracy in peak volume periods
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to build good working relationships with coworkers and vendors is a must
• Familiarity with a variety of makes of motorcycle and powersports vehicles, preferred
• History of working in a powersports or automotive dealership or repair facility is desired
• Must be able to frequently bend, kneel, crouch, and reach to perform job duties.
